We reviewed Beauty of Decay, and it earned its name. Grid Theory makes music that feels built rather than written, layer by layer, with a precision that keeps rewarding repeat listens.
Before we reviewed, we had read that the complaint was, it was so clean it sounded like AI. We took a listen, and honestly, it’s just an insane level of cleanness.
A TikTok find who completely blindsided us. Beautifully expressive vocals and a sound that sits somewhere between indie and soul without fully committing to either.
Which is exactly why it works.
Becky Sikasa’s Together Apart feels like a gospel we should all be hearing. The vocal build and what sounds like room noise/space in the vocal just work.

Maybe you’re getting bored of us saying a TikTok find, but we can’t help it. We have a finely tuned FYP at this point. Teminals brings a bit of bite and friction that isn’t around all too often. Its driver, angular (in just the right way)
It was the visuals on TikTok that blew us away when we first saw Glass Beams. It was so ethereal.
We had to check it wasn’t too good to be true. Indian-Australian Rajan Silva formed the group, and we’re glad he did.
If you want something so hypnotizing you can’t look away or stop listening, Glass Beams is it.

Cause we’re dancing on the people, people on the ceiling, people. people…. or something like that, then with a purple hat.
SOFI TUKKER is made up of Sophie and Tucker - a surprise, we know.
They’re known for a few songs like COOK with J. Balvin, but Purple Hat popped off on TikTok, and now everyone is dancing on the people.
