Dumaurra

Dumaurra's sound sits somewhere between alt pop and indie rock in a way that feels natural. Invite Me In is the track that makes it click. The energy shifts just enough to keep things interesting. You will probably end up adding the rest of the stuff too.

October arrived in 2024 and it still hasn't left our queue. It opens with a synth line that sets the temperature immediately - cool, slightly distant, the kind of sound that makes you feel like you're watching something from a window rather than standing in it. The vocal sits above it without competing, melodic and restrained.

Basement Letters

Intermission is one minute forty with no drums and no build, and it still has the sharpest writing on - self-aware without being precious about it. Climb after fall after climb after fall, and life gets richer anyway. This quiet one in the middle of the record is the one that stays with you.

Emnoir has that dreamy pull that makes you want to get lost in it for a while. Unhurried vocal, production that gives it room without letting it drift. Give it a spin and see if it sticks for you too. Headphones recommended.

Ilmarinen

Acoustic folk instrumentation locked against heavy rhythmic percussion, a vocal that carries the weight of the arrangement, and a melody built for a crowd dancing around who knows every word.
