Emotions and music are inseparable. On this day, love or loss is usually at the forefront of our minds. Lyrics and the music behind them can bring you back to a moment in time: holding hands, late-night drives, goodbye kisses, moments you never realized were everything, until much later.
Music, in all its forms, can connect us to ourselves and to others. The right lyric at the right (or wrong) time can stop you in your tracks and remind you of things you lost, things you love, and that you’re alive and in this moment.
